We average 200 students in our high school program, all with varying schedules. Most students meet with a mentor teacher who is selected for them. This teacher designs, instructs and evaluates their program. They will have a variety of teachers depending on their course of study. Every course needed for graduation and college entrance is offered. Some are offered in groups. All are offered individually. Some courses, such as Algebra or Chemistry, are very traditional in content. Others, like English, are more varied and personal. Once a schedule is established, it continues through the year. Our common Course Catalog is available for you to look at.

Most students attend 2 or 3 days a week and take a combination of group classes and subjects one on one. They need the other days to get assignments done and carry on with their lives. All students are able to grow as people and learners. They are able to pursue their personal unique interests because now they will have both time and energy.

We have students graduating this year who have been here since kindergarten and students who will graduate with only one semester at Chrysalis. Most students enter in junior high and remain throughout high school. To get an idea of the diversity that Chrysalis students posess, check out the Student Profile page.

We have a chapter of the National Honor Society. For eligibility requirements click HERE.
